What the hell is up with Bush appointing Miers to the chair of the Supreme Court???? Miers if you don't know she is Bush's personal lawyer, this is taking cronysm to another level. It's no longer funny.This woman has never even been a judge in her life!! The position of Supreme Court judge is some sort of dictatorship which means you either resign or die. How can a woman who is not even a judge make decisives votes on trials that can shape American politics for the next 20 years!!
The scary thing about Bush is that he's not only living a mess in the White House, that can be clean in a couple of years, but he's making a mess for the long run... It's sad. The foundations of the US democracy so brilliantly created by it's founding fathers are now becoming a pathetic joke.
Sad, sad. Sad. And american news and democrats are concentrating in the wrong theme... They keep pushing this woman on her stance in abortion... That's not it. That's not why she's there. If you look at John Roberts, background and Miers background, they have one thing in common:
They both are in favour of a stronger executive branch.
