Vaquero Review

Went to the cool and trendy Havana Club to witness for the second time the Regio-Rock group Vaquero. First time I saw them, they sucked pretty bad, so I decided to give the boys another chance. Honestly as much as it hurts to say, they sucked again :( . Only the first song and "Volvere" were AMAZING. The rest was just too 80's or regular songs.

Also Mauricio the bass player stresses me, with his stage presence. It's like his having an orgasm. It reminds me of School of Rock the guitar player, who substitutes Jack Black in his old band moving his hips like as if only his hips are having an epileptic seizure. Same thing here, except this one wears a scarf.

Who I do admire is Chetes. Amazing. He played 5 instruments in total!! He's already released 3 albums! And he's 23!!! Wow. That guy is probably the most talented musician in Monterrey.

But overall the band was pretty lame, no energy, no connection with the audience, most of the songs were regular, except the first one and "Volvere." Still I do not regret going, the groupies were very very nice.

Life lesson: Be a rockstar or win a lot of money, and girls swarm to you like bees to honey.
